About BOI Life

Key Considerations

  • Simple, single-strategy funds: Choose from straightforward asset class exposure without complex structures

  • Risk-graded multi-asset options: Managed Growth, Managed Opportunity, and Managed Security cover different risk appetites

  • Bank of Ireland integration: Pensions visible within the Bank of Ireland mobile banking app

  • Financial Consultant access: In-branch, virtual, or phone meetings for advice and planning

  • Digital Advice Journey: Online pension planning tool available through Bank of Ireland

What Are Unit Funds?

Unit Funds are traditional unit-linked investment funds - each fund invests in a single asset class or a defined managed mix. Unlike lifecycle strategies (which automatically adjust over time) or multi-manager funds (which blend many underlying managers), Unit Funds provide straightforward, single-strategy exposure. Investors choose which fund(s) to hold and in what proportion.

Fund Range

BOI Life Unit Funds cover core asset classes across two series (Series 2 and Series 3):
