The Sub-Fund is a financial product that promotes ESG characteristics pursuant to Article 8 of the Disclosure Regulation. The Sub-Fund invests at least 67% of assets in equities of companies that are in the MSCI Europe index, and at least 75% of net assets in companies that are headquartered, or do substantial business, in Europe. There are no currency constraints on these investments. The Sub-Fund makes use of derivatives to reduce various risks and for efficient portfolio management. The investment team screens equities for good liquidity and strong fundamentals (bottom-up), then uses a quantitative process to construct a portfolio that is designed to have lower overall risk characteristics than the benchmark. The Sub-Fund seeks to achieve an ESG score of its portfolio greater than that of the Benchmark.
